Hello From the Hospital....

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have made the decision to move from home healthcare to hospice care through St. Elizabeth as soon as I get sprung from the hospital. My cancer has spread and my doctor and I have decided it would be best to stop treatment. Much of my pain stems from new tumors in my abdomen and liver. Also from my neck tumor which is pushing on my spinal cord and causing paralysis.

What I am thankful for:
Everything anybody has ever done for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS!!

Tracy,
I do not personally know you but know about you from those who I have worked with (Rose, Tracy, and Anne F.) I have also read your blog a time or two when my dear friend was first diagnosed last year. I have to say that you are an AMAZING woman and an inspiration to us all. You have tremendous courage and the heart of a fighter. I pray for you to have peace and comfort. I also pray for your family, especially your boys, to know that their mother was a beautiful angel sent here to show all whom she met (or did not) how we should to live our lives to the fullest and cherish every moment.
"I said a prayer for you today
And I know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
Although I heard no word.
I didn't ask for wealth or fame
(I knew you wouldn't mind.)
I asked to send you treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that God be near you
At the start of each new day
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was God's loving care for you
That I prayed for most of all."

With Love,

Hey Tracy. I'm one of Danny's Colorado cousins, Jamie. I have peeked at your blog from time to time, more recently to help keep my mom updated. Danny and your wedding was one of the most memorable weddings I have ever been to. I was just starting college and remember thinking 'this is exactly what I want for myself' Two beautiful people falling in love, getting married, and having 2 georgeous sons (there is going to be a line of girls at your house!!) I would never have been able to be as positive and strong has you have been the last 5-6 years. I pray for you and your family. I pray for peace, strength and acceptance for everyone. God bless you.

Tracy,
No words can ever express the impression you have made not only my life but the lives of so many people. From the day we met in the fall of 1992 till today, I have always been thankful that you came into my life. Your courage, will, fight, and drive in everyday life and its challenges is admired by so many people. Because of you, I will continue to fight through this unfair life and always remember your courage and strength. I am so very lucky to be able to call you my friend and for that, I will be forever blessed and lucky. Stay strong through the tough times ahead and continue to know in your heart, mind, and soul that you are not alone. I hope and pray that you are comfortable and that you feel all the love of your wonderful family and friends that surround you. God Bless you Tracy. With more than all my love.....

Dearest Tracy,
It is so hard to know what to say. You have been so strong, and so positive and a champion to so many. Lives are made richer by having known you, by reading this blog, by your courage, your love of your friends and family, and your thankfulness each day.
God works in ways we do not understand. He is with you always, and now at this most painful time in your life. Know without a doubt, that so many people love you and are sending prayers your way. Let that surround and comfort you. I am so glad we were able to talk, even for a short time, at Christmas. Thank you for that time. Keep up the good fight, Tracy. But also let your body rest in God's hands.
love you always,
Karen in Tokyo

Tracy,

You don't know me however I know of you thru a mutal acquaintance.

In reading your blog and hearing the things you've went thru during this battle with cancer, I wanted to let you know you are truly one of Gods greatest people! You have taught me how to laugh even if I don't want to, how the will to live is so powerful, to always be positive and be thankful, to dance in the rain because you can, to cherish every moment we have with our family and friends, to have faith and SO much more!

I look forward to one day meeting you! You are truly a blessing! My thoughts and prayers are with you for painfree times and wonderful moments with family and friends. All the best!
