I want you to know that I am truly inspired by your courage. Reminds me of my mom, with her kidney failure over 25 years ago--she had a long road ahead of her, but managed to fight and stay in great shape. Technology improved, and today she is in good as shape as ever, still exercising EVERY day. You have the same positive attitude as her. We'll be thinking about you. Ryan and Trina W., SA Tx. My treatments chemo, surgery and radiation have all gone well. I have to have surgery on my thyroid this month due to 2 small nodules which came back inconclusive from a needle biopsy. I too will panic at the thought of scans which I have yet to do since my treatments have ended. I sometimes wonder if life will ever seem even remotely like it used to. I have given several talks about cancer striking and the power of prayer. I really do think that God has been with me through this whole ordeal and think I am being groomed to do something that will be of service to others in the way of helping those with cancer. I think it sounds like you have a great head on your shoulders and I'm very impressed with your goals you have for youself. I ran 45 minutes on the treadmill tonight and thought there is probably no way I could ever run a marathon. Good luck with your training and keep up the good work!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
